MINIStRy Teams
Being active in the church isn't about being busier. It's about loving God & loving others. We have a variety of ways for you to grow in your relationship with Jesus while also walking alongside others who are doing the same thing. The Bible is clear; every follower of Jesus Christ has a part to play. We encourage everyone to be active in ministry. The goal of each and every ministry area is to communicate God's love to others.
We have a place for you! Whether it's serving on Sundays or during the week, in small groups or large, serving the local community or the global church each follower of Jesus has a ministry to carry out.
Sunday Worship
One way we love God with all that we are is by gathering with other believers each week for corporate worship. Every Sunday is a family reunion. For many of us, this is the anchor point of our week.
We gather to be encouraged & challenged to grow. We laugh together. We cry together. We share fishing stories & recipes. We study, sing, give & participate in the Lord's Supper.
Bible Classes for all ages begin at 11:15am
Worship Service begins at 10:00am
Small Groups
In order to live out the second of Jesus' most important commandments, we encourage everyone to be involved in a small group. Each week groups are meeting in homes & our building. We study. We share successes & burdens. We grow together as we grow closer to God. Contact the church office at 989-588-9711 if you are interested in joining a small group.
CHILDREN'S & yOUTH Ministry
Because children learn in unique ways we offer learning opportunities geared just for them! Bible classes for all age groups take place on Sunday morning at 11:15am. Our Middle and High School students gather together for different events throughout the year to grow in their faith and in community.
Dozens of Middle & High School students come to 5th Quarter Parties, after home football games. They look forward to food, ping pong, foosball & octoball!
We intentionally invite our children & youth to serve alongside adults in a variety of ministry areas as they are able.
Sonbeam Puppeteers
For over 30 years our puppet team has shared their talent & Christ-centered message throughout Michigan, Indiana & beyond. Children as young as 10 learn how to make puppets "come alive," staging, costuming, team work & how to creatively communicate Jesus' love.
The Sonbeam Puppeteers have engaged audiences at Farwell Area School's annual Cabin Fever Variety Show, Dow Gardens, Sparta Puppet Festival, VFW locations, nursing homes, Christmas & birthday parties.
