Gathering each Sunday for corporate worship is an important part of being a follower of Jesus.  It's one way we live out Jesus' two most important commandments.  It's an important piece of our spiritual growth.  Corporate worship isn't about a show.  It's a time to focus our attention on God & to be an encouragement to other Christians.

There are many actions that are acts of worship. Each Sunday we focus on four...

study

God reveals himself & directs his people through the words of Holy Bible. We dedicate time to Bible study in order to be the people God has called us to be.

song

Singing is just one way we remind ourselves of what God has done for us & thank him for all his amazing gifts.

lord's supper

This is the most important part of our Worship Service. It is a time to evaluate our relationship with Jesus, to remember his death on the cross & proclaim our faith in him.

give

God has given us everything we have. By giving a portion back to him acknowledge his provision & our trust that he will continue to provide for our needs.

  • What precautions has FCC taken against COVID - 19?
Although we typically enjoy handshakes and hugs, we are encouraging people of different households to practice social distancing to the best of their ability. We invite anyone who so desires to wear a mask during our worship service. Wearing a mask is voluntary. We will not be passing trays during Communion or Offering.
  • What time does church start?
Our worship service begins at 10:00am.
  • I didn't grow up going to church, will I feel comfortable?"
We strive to make everyone who walks in the door feel at home. It's OK if you don't know anything about the Bible or what happens at church. If you have questions while you're here, please ask! We'd love to tell you more.
  • Do I have to dress up?
No. We are a pretty casual, relaxed group. If you want to "dress up" you may, but it isn't expected.
  • I'm not a member of FCC, can I take communion?"
You do not need to be a member of FCC to take communion. If you are an immersed believer in Jesus Christ, we invite you to take communion with us as an expression of faith and unity in our shared belief.
  • Am I expected to give money to the church?
We do not expect our guests to give any money to the church. It is up to you if you chose to do so or not.
  • Who can I talk to learn more about FCC?
Christian, our minister, loves to tell people about FCC & its mission. You can also speak to any one of our elders.
  • I don't have a Bible, can I come to church?"
Yes, please! Having a Bible is not a requirement to come to church. We have Bibles available for you to use. If you have a smart phone, there are some very good free Bible apps (YouVersion, Bible Gateway, or Gideon Bible) that allow you to download a Bible for free. If it's easier for you, all three of these apps give you the option to listen to the Bible, rather than reading it. If you would like to have a Bible of your own, please talk to Christian or one of the elders.
  • Can I bring my kids?
Yes, please! At 11:15am we have classes for people of all ages. At 10:00am we have one worship service that is geared for all ages. During both of these times we have a nursery available for your littlest ones upon request. If your children are more comfortable staying with you during either one of these times, that's OK too!
  • What is FCC's song service like?
Our song services include music that you may hear on Christian radio stations and songs that have been around for decades and, in some cases, for centuries. Our singing is lead by several vocalists and instrumentalists. Songs are selected to help us focus on the lesson in the sermon.
